we're still on vacation, so I'm going to a wonderful Italian place in Binghamton, NY called Little Venice. I HIGHLY recommend it!

My lands, every time somebody starts one of these threads, I get convicted. And darned hungry!

I had several ripe peaches and strawberries in the refrig this afternoon, and when I got hungry at 4:30 I just decided they would be my dinner --- with a huge bowl of ice cream. :?

Now, I really am hungry for 'real' food and will have to move my bottom to the kitchen to fix something decent. Maybe tacos, too; I think there was a *big* secret in my family's 18-generations-in-VA past 'cause I'm a Mexican food addict.

I feel like I have cooked all day. but really didn't. I baked a pound cake and fixed strawberries for dessert. I then cooked a pot of soup beans, made cornbread, fried potatoes and salmon patties and made a bowl of cole slaw. By the time I sat down at the table, I wasn't hungry anymore. It was good tho.

We had stew beef, fried squash, green peas, rice, watermelon and cherry pie for desert. First fried squash of the season. They were really good.
