What do these Mean # ^

I am wondering what these signs to the right of peoples posts mean. # ^
I looked at the forums help area but couldn't find it.

# dont quote but i think this takes you to the specific member prev post - nope i was wrong.. refreshes maybe?

if you want to refer to a specific post, click on the # and the web address at the top of your browser will change to that specific message address. for instance, the link http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-154880-1.htm#4268461 will take you to luvTooQuilt's message. HTH
