Ya'll have lost me on the itunes, ipod and even down loading books/movies! I have not moved into that world yet but it sounds interesting. By time I figured it out, it will be the old stuff. I still have cassettes!

Cyn..come on over to the "dark side" sister! :-)

Seriously, all the 'free" and interesting stuff you can download to an iPod (or most MP3 players I imagine) makes it worth it!

Thanks for the link! Now , I don't have an mp3 or Ipod...I would like to have one, but don't know what to buy. How much storage do I need for books and music? What brand would you recommend?

Tanesha, I'd love to join you but I'm trying to "go to the lite" side (pun intended) :) I believe following your path has me buying another thing to fill my space. Then it will have to have a cord that will need to plug in and then it will need a case which I will need to buy until I can get motivated to make a quilty thing to put it in. Then I will need to clear off a space to put the thing so it doesn't get lost under all the other things I have laying around. Then I will be forced by my curiosity to look for the latest attachment or something to be cool that goes with it and it will get out of hand like everything else I seem to touch. I'm a little bit compulsive if you can't tell and I have way too much time on my hands although I am busy all day and half the night :) I haven't been diagnosed yet and I'm not going to if I can help it-lol. This board has actually kept me out of stores somewhat and I appreciate it :)

Thank you! Now I can quilt and catch up on "reading" some good books at the same time. :)

You can listen through Windows Media Player or QuickTime or what ever media program you have in your computer. No new electronics to buy...

I listen to audio books when I am sewing also. The only time I have to put it on pause is when I have some brain figuring to do. Edie
