The book list posted earlier made me think of my all time favorite books. I have several I re read at least every few years. No particular order. List your favorite books, I would like to read some I haven't read.

My tastes are all over the board -- much like my taste in music. I range anywhere from spiritual applications to horror to biographies. I would have to say that one of my all time favorites, which I haven't read for quite awhile, was The Once and Future King by T. H. White. Anything by Douglas Adams is always a hit with me. Mists of Avalon was good, too. I know there are so many more, but can I think of them right off hand?.....noooooo.

Books that I read and re-read:
The Far Pavilions (M M Kaye)
Grandmother and the Priests (Taylor Caldwell)
To Kill a Mockingbird (Harper Lee)
Dragonquest (and the entire Pern series by Anne McCaffery)
One Door Away from Heaven (Dean Koontz)
and some that I just start at the beginning with an author and read through everything - anything by Mary Stewart, all the Terry Pratchitt books (including WHERE'S MY COW lol), all the Fannie Flagg books, most of the Edward Rutherford books, Saki's stories, Kipling's stories, all the Jane Austens . . .and on and on and on. . .

I just finished Terry Pratchett's Carpe Jugulum and I laughed out loud. It is part of the Discworld series that I am slogging through bit by bit.
Other authors I like are Neil Gaiman, Dean Koontz, and Greg Isles. Some of the reads are stranger than fiction.
Another one that made me laugh was The Devil Wears Prada. The movie did not do the book justice.
