I use liquid Ecos from Costco for laundry soap. For rinse, I use a downy ball filled with some white vinegar. Works great!
Vinegar is a great fabric softener, and no smell either! :)
For body products, I use the Aloe Vera stuff at The Body Shop. Has no scent added.

Last week our daughter broke out in a rash all over. She was using Liquid Tide and her doctor said it was an irritation with laundry soap. Doctor told her to use Dreft.

I use Seventh Generation Free and Clear 2X Concentrated Laundry Detergent. It can be used in both regular and High Efficency washers. I use it because I have Severe Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and am allergic to most everything, too. It works really well for me.
I'm sorry to hear about your son's eczema. One of my DGD was just diagnosed with it. I hope you find something that works for you. :)
