There hopefully will be several good replies for you, but to me, looking at a closeup of the thread label, it appears to be a synthetic thread (they call it "filament") with 12000 yards on the spool. Makes me wonder if it was sold to the mattress/bedspread industry for commercial quilting of same.

The Tex 60 is the key to what it is. Coats has a chart for the different Tex sizes. I would think it is thin filament poly.
Filament poly is very strong thread. It is what most prewound bobbins use. I would buy all of it if the price was reasonable.
Update:
After looking at the Tex chart is shows it is a 20wt 2 ply extra strong. Not suitable for piecing or bobbins.

This is quality thread for what it is made for. I would use it to make totes, duffle bags, pillows, etc. If my machine couldn't handle different threads I'd be upset. I have a Bernina and all I have to do is change the tension and needle to use any thread.
