Hi

I am a lifetime Weight Watcher member (1986)....but am not at goal presently, but working on it again! Summer at the lake and chips, beer, brats, and marshmallows in the cupboard are hard on me! LOL I also do My Fitness Pal. I have done Aitkins and it worked great, then I added back fruits and carbs....it was a lnon-liveable plan for my life.

Weight Watchers is basic common sense eating, nothing you can't have.....but you learn to make wise decisions after you blow all your daily points on something! It is almost a game to see how much you can eat and stay on program, and it can be a lot of food. Love WW, and it works well for me. (give me a month, it'll prove itself again!)

I quit eating dairy products and dropped 30 lbs. Before I had tried to lose weight and couldn't. I don't eat meat either though or much bread.

NO white food - potatoes - bread - rice - white flour/sugar. After a few days you will not be hungry and you will have so much energy. I eat so many vegies and protein now along with some fruit. Even WW limits fruit or used to. Excercise burns calories. Atkins web site is FREE and has so many tips and recipes. You can do it for 2 weeks and see how you like it - it is a good boost. I love bread and found a few different very low carb breads and pocket type breads that work. Read labels = you want to eat all you can eat and have many choices so you stick to a new plan. Good luck! Lots of interesting ideas on this thread. I have enjoyed reading them.
