wow, lots of great things going on with everyone.
I'm a wife,Mom,Grandma to 1 precious almost 5yo little girl-girl. Have worked as a sleep tech for the past 6 years. Before that I was respirtory tech. And before that I built airplanes in one of Kansas major plants. Recently my spare time is filled with fishing, and aggravating husband :)

Long story short: I'm a retired teacher of 33 years. I have great respect for those who drive our kids to school. I hope you enjoy your retirement to quilting. Good luck.

I was a stay at home mom until all my kids got into school and I got bored. I then went to work in our local grocery store (loved it at first) until they started to get greedy and started doing kinda shady things. They always thought they could do what they wanted because of thier last name. I quit, because I did not want any part of that. 16 months later...they lost both of their business's.. I then went to a local fast food..for 17 years..climbing the ladder in the restaurant manager..they closed our local one down..traveled 80 miles round trip for a few years..hated it..so quit and went to the competion. All I really want is to retire and enjoy life with my grandbabies..

Started off in Sales/Marketing for commercial ice equipment, moved into marketing and product line management for water filtration and treatment, moved to marketing in the Nonwovens industry and now marketing for a major manufacturer in the telecommunications industry (cable primarily). Yikes, thats a checkered career for you!
