I host dinner for 15, sister and her family and my daughter and her family. We have a brand new baby girl this year to hug and to hold. Can't wait. She was born mid Sept and her name is Bella.

I have my family descending upon my abode. My parents, older brother, his wife 2 pre-schoolers and MIL, My middle brother, wife and 2 daughters, youngest brother, wife and 2 daughters, middle daughter her DH and my grand son, my oldest daughter and her DH, my youngest daughter and her DH. Um..... 26 people. Wow!! that should be interesting. Fortunately two of my daughters live here in town so they will each have family members staying with them and all our bedrooms will be filled. Dinner will be here. Hmmmm..... we may need 2 turkeys!!!

This year we, DH and DS, will be taking our first road trip from Long Island to Rochester, NY. It will be interesting as we've never driven up there we have only ever flown. I'm not sure what it will be like with a 3 year old in the car seat for 6-8 hours. I'm predicting quite a few stops.

I'm working. Hopefully I'll be scheduled to get off by 6 & one of my DDs will decide to cook. Otherwise I get a turkey TV dinner & a can of turkey dog food for Casper (he normally only gets dry food :D ). This has been the routine for years. I don't mind working because customers are generally in a good mood.

Well we'll be home. No one has invited my tribe since we went over 5 children. (We are at 14 now) Can't say I blame them. I am not sure what we are cooking but I think it will be mash potatoes, corn, buns, turkey, boiled yams, fresh made cranberries, about a pie a person, green bean casserole, Martinelli apple cider and canned olives.

Bake pumpkin and apple pies. Eat lots of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and pies :-). Oh, and get to bed early so I can shop the next day!

I'm going to be home alone, sewing, watching T.V., eating junk food, drinking beer, and napping.
