Anyone use her techniques? I have a little & actually they are really great! Truthfully , I think her painting is 'old', 80's...& sometimes her voice irritates me! lol. BUt , she does show some good sewing techniques!

I have seen the sewing segment at the ends of some shows. Seems to be more of a fold and sew technique rather than regular piecing. She had a fabric line a while back and I bought a great border print that I used for a Triangle Frenzy table runner.

I like her and her paintings but her way of sewing I think to me would be a lot of extra fabric and then you need the fusible stuff she uses to hold all the fabric together another expense but they are nice quilts/wall hangings

You can always do like Nancy Z does, she uses glue sticks to hold things together while she sews or serges. I think for some who don't like all the cutting stuff her fold and go method really works. I've seen her do some cute items and alot easier.

I use to love watching her paint. I have an old book of things that used her fabric line. I have not made anything from it.

She is definitely a very talented lady! When we built a house in the early 90's, I went to her little shop she had back then (before she became "famous") and bought several items she had painted. Then I hired her to do my kitchen wallpaper and design my living room drapes. (What she helped me pick out was bold- so not me- but was my all-time favorite designs.) I no longer own that house, but one of her painted metal pans sits on the shelf of my sewing room and I think of her often.
