I think we are also going down salad lane. I have some leftover grilled chicken that will be used in a nice Chinese Chicken salad type recipe.

I made spinach salad night before last with some cubed steaks and a few potatoes. Last night was our hottest night yet so we just didn't cook anything. I ate cereal for supper and my husband ate cottage cheese and tomatos. Still hot tonight and we are having hot dogs and whatever we can find to go with them. No real cooking here until the weather is in the 70's.

I have central air so I am not particularly concerned about the outside temp. My granddaughter has been staying with me for the past few days. She is 12. We had roast pork tenderloin with oven roasted potatoes from my garden and steamed carrots, also from my garden. We are presently going to have vanilla bean cake from Pepperidge Farm.

Today is my youngest's 26th birthday. So it is to our favorite spot for boneless wings!
