Its way to hot to cook around here 102* actual temp and heat index over 120* again so its order pizzas and pitchers of Long Island Teas for me!!!

We had some rain & it cooled down just a bit. We had fish, pasta salad, corn and a ripe garden tomato cut into wedges. Oh...sweet ice tea, too.

Shredded roast beef in the crock pot for sandwiches, Kraft mac and cheese and fruit salad. It's hot here in PA! I'm gonna make a peach pie tonight.

I hate the heat but DS is here for the week so I am making a roast beef with mashed potatoes/gravy/corn/carrots and cranberry sauce. The AC is cranked so it is OK.

well dinner won't be as good as our lunch - grilled steaks, salad baked potato. Dinner will be spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans and salad...It's not that hot here.
When it is hot I either make taco salad or grill something outside to keep the heat out there instead of in my kitchen.

We eat salads every night. About 5 years ago DH had a heart episode--nothing serious, but I decided he needs to eat more veggies. It's lettuce salad every night- I mix up the fresh veggies and the meat so it's a different meal every night. Sure makes meal planning easier. Since we are farmers we have a bigger meal at noon instead of a light lunch.
