Where in NC are you?
Does it cool down like that all summer?

Do I detect a little sarcasm? I do not know how people can concentrate with tornado watches going on.

AkAngel

I'm not sure what the temperature is right now but driving home just after 6 tonight it was near 60 pretty nice really. The snow is almost all gone, have about 4 or 5 inches left in the back yard will probably be all gone by the end of the week.

It is 72 right now, it was in the 80's earlier today. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 80's but starting Tuesday we are supposed to have rain and be in the 60's most of the week.

60's -- that's nice! I love to sit with a quilt or two on my lap.

G-Maw, I usually like rain, but when my parents Poodles come to visit and don't get immediately escorted into the house they love to run around out side and. . . can you imagine what a soaked Poodle looks like? Multiply that by three!

Well it is the rainy and tornado season here. It's 5:45am and it's pouring the temp is 55 and it's the 3rd day of rain!!!

My daughters live about 15 minutes from us and they had to go to their basements last nite because of tornadoes spotted close to wear they live.
We were ready but never had to take shelter. The weather radio goes off none stop and now flood warnings are out.

It's almost 7 am here and today looks to be nice it is 50 now and could go to high 60's. The weekend was cold-high 30's and low 40's with rain all weekend. They are talking rain again today too.

Was suppose in the 80's on Saturday, and I guess it was inland, but on the coast, we only hit mid 50's and very windy. Sunday it was nicer - in the mid 70's on the coast - beach covered in people trying to get a tan!!! Today sun is shining, but not suppose to get as warm as yesterday. Tuesday in the 70-80 range and then cooler the rest of the week. In Maine I have found that you just have to take it day by day.

Today (Monday) it's supposed to be around 85 - 86 here in the piedmont of NC. Walked in the house on Sat. after working in yard all day and it was 89. So - cut the A/C on and left till shortly after midnight. Came home still 84. Guess what - A/C not working   This happens every change of season. We have to get repairmen out. To add insult to injury - dryer wouldn't get hot this morning  Can you tell ~ I'm NOT having a good Monday? Oh well ~ good excuse to not do laundy - have the fan on in sewing room - maybe I'll sew before it gets too hot.
