Whoa!! Did that hurt? I actually scrubbed one of mine off. Saved a dr visit. Now I get hard, little white bumps on my face. What is that?

DH gets them from time to time and they get big. So he has me tie a sewing thread very tightly around their base (I call it body quilting lol). This eliminates the blood supply to the darn things and eventually they fall off. (If I don't clip the thread, I can also yank his chain - so to speak).

Ah yes, the ageing process.

I had a complete hysterectomy so I missed menopause. :P I have to take estrogen for the rest of my life because I don't have any ovaries to produce the slight amount needed to not shrivel up. One good thing about it I didn't have to go through any menopause symptoms. I was young so I thought it was great no more monthly visits to deal with.

Went thru menopause quite a few years ago. My dr at the time was very conservative and didn't want to put me on meds. Good for him, I found out later. However, after 3 years of that sh** I went in for a dr visit (and any woman who has gone thru meno knows this feeling), I said "If you don't give me something for these hot flashes, I am going to grab you by the throat and throw you against the wall!! He looked at me and said, "Well, maybe it's time." Smart man.

When you catch them when they are little it is no worse then the shot the Dr. will give you to numb it. Just a pinch and a tiny spot of blood and it is over. A razor in the right place would work too.
