I like the recipe for Toll House cookies on the back of Toll House chocolate chips, BUT, I use left over candy from Halloween and add any extra nuts we have in the house. Some have pecans, some with walnuts, some with cashews. I cut the candy into small pieces. DH calls them Christmas present cookies. Some of the candies have nuts so I don't add so many more. Great way to get rid of the Halloween candy stash. Some may have Skittles and my little niece calls those Nutty Skittles with the added nut pieces. Because some are allergic to nuts you want to be careful and keep them separated. Do Not put the nutty ones on the same plate or in same container as those w/o nuts.

Favorite? There's lots! One that my family always requested is called Monster Cookies. I guess it is because they contain oatmeal, peanut butter, chocolate chips, M&Ms as well as all the other normal ingredients. At Christmas time, I use the red and green M&Ms and at Easter I use the pastel M&Ms...

Dad's cookies are my favorite .... (not my dad's cookies cause he didn't bake), they are called Dad's cookies )
They are made with oatmeal and coconut and are soft and chewy and little crunchy on the outside.

My favorites are chocolate chip using a recipe my DDIL gave me; it calls for 1/2 cup, yes, 1/2 cup, of vanilla. It makes about 14 dozen cookies, so they last a long time, as long as I can keep them away from DH before the company gets here! I used to make tons of cookies at Christmas, but after doing very fancy cookies for my son's wedding, I cut back. I got "cookied out". There were four six foot tables packed with trays of cookies. When the minister gave the blessing before the meal, he thanked God for all the cookies! Wish I would have thought to take a picture.

Mine would be the MONSTER COOKIES !!! you need a large dish tube to mix them in , but the dough freezes great .Makes enough to last the holidays , Thanksgiving through 4 th of July .

I laughed so hard, I got a cramp in my diaphragm and thought I was gonna die, but instead, just kept laughing through the pain.
Guess I should tell my favorite cookie now...Mexican Wedding cookie.
