Definitely call the company about this manager. This can be solved very easily. They will probably have the regional manager spend some time with her to retrain her.

Thank you craftybear, I contacted the number she gave me and talked to a very nice person. She is contacting the regional manager and they are going to investigate and keep me in the loop.

This is just another reason why I love this board so much!

Would immediately ask for her "supervisor" .... let her know you are not
going to "deal with it", but higher-ups certainly will!

I would so have been on line fininding the corprate email after her first shoulder shrug. You were doing her a favor by trying to talk to her, but if that is her attitude because she is the manager, then maybe she shouldn't be the manager. She obviously doesn't have the capabilities to be manager. Contact corporate and let them know what is happening with the manager at this store. If you can include dates and approx times so they can compare her work schedule with her hours. If she has that attitude with you, im sure her attitude extends to other customers as well.

Just read that you got the phone number and contacted them. Good for you. Hope this all works out for you and that the company offers you something for your trouble. That is the least they can do after dealing with that manager.

I was a retail manager for 22 yrs. I'd go to the corporate office & find out who to talk to. Someone needs to pay a little visit to her!! That's disgusting!!! Customer's are ALWAYS 1st-otherwise she'd be out of a job. What an arrogant B----!

Holy Moly!!!

Thank you CraftyBear for giving her the phone number for the corporate office. This definitely needs to be dealt with. That store is going to lose all business simply because of this one person, who obviously needs to be replaced.

I would bring back the fabric and tell her its not cut right and to redu it. Its her fault she didnt cut it right. You ask for one measurement and she should do it right. She needs a good talking too.
