I agree with Jacquie in OK.... I stopped watching TV a few years ago as they started having more commercials than actual shows. Most sitcoms are inane and insulting to me... I don't care for the "dark" stories, and exploding and yelling, fists socking and grunting are disgusting to me.. My DH watches what he wants,(and he complains about all the good shows being on at the same time too) but I come into my sewing room and read the QB and look at pretty quilts, and/or sew. Guess I am getting to be an old "fuddy-duddy". I only want nice things going into my brain... I do enjoy a good movie (no commercials) once in awhile. Listen to good soothing music. I am no fun at all. ;-)

Why do so many of the best shows start at 10pm? That is a little late for us old folks......guess that is why we record them.

That happens to me too, then other times there is absolutely nothing on that I like at all.

L.O.L. I'm thinking the same thing.

I was half-listening to a commercial yesterday for some new DVR (not sure what company is offering it) that will record shows aired up to three days past the current day. I still remember being so excited when we bought our first VCR and now look where we are. Being a couch potato is getting easier and easier! :) :)

That's why we need to be able to watch one and record the others. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks they do this. lol.

Agreed, or when football, basketball or golf run overtime so the show you want to view starts later. Guess they think everyone is a night owl.

If I really love the show, I will get it on DVD after the season is done, that way I can go back and watch any time when nothing is on.
