Default Winter Scarf

My mother in law is looking for a scarf that she has seen. It is a short scarf and one side has a slit on it and the other side u pull through the slit. I am thinking this is a crochecheted or knit.Has anyone seen this kind of scarfs?

I know exactly what she means. I have two of them. Will look for the pattern.

Here is a link to a simple knitted one. When I googled "scarf with slit" I came up with several patterns and a you tube video. Good luck on your search.

Thanks anyway. But if they are all knit I can't make them. I only crochet. Thank you all for responding.

It's called a buttonhole scarf. You can probably find one in a crochet pattern. I did a quick search but too many things popped up. If you are a member of Ralvery.com (free kniiting/crochet/spinning/weaving community message board) then you can look through their patterns. They have tons of free patterns.
