Default Trouble with Chrome

Is anyone else having trouble with Chrome? My computer updated a couple of days ago and now it seems every time I try to log into Chrome it takes forever or never opens. I saw something a few days ago that MS was trying to stop people from using Chrome and switch them to Edge (the MS browser) instead. When I use Edge it opens with no trouble. I wondering if the update had anything to do with the problem with Chrome.

Last week my computer was really messed up. I blamed it on facebook. I restarted it, restored to an earlier date, didn't work like it use to. I did other things. It would start working okay, next morning it was goofed up again. Nothing really worked so I turned it off waited a few minutes then turned it back on. All problems was fixed.

I have not heard of Edge, it didn't have anything to do with mine.

I'm still using Chrome just fine.

Same here Chrome working fine. I don't use Google search but do use Chrome Browser because it's faster then the others. I use DuckDuckGo search. It's easy to set a default search engine in Chrome in settings.

You might try re-installing Chrome. I've been using it. At one point an automatic update caused some problems, but it still opened just fine.

I may have to do that. I don't want to lose my bookmarks though. I can't find how to save them or export the to another file. I'm using Windows 10.

I have been having problems with my Chrome from the time I bought my new HP laptop about a year ago. I even had the Geeks at Best Buy install it for me and I still have problems pulling up my face book and mail a lot of the time. It is almost always slow and will freeze up on me while I am in the middle of something.

crafty pat, that's the same type problems I'm having but mine just started. I can't get any emails from FB to change my email address even though I've had them send it to my new email.
