Default Trick or Treat Bag

I got the idea from EBLibrary.com. Two place mats (these are from Khols). Add handles to the top and sew together along the sides! So simple. I made two, one for each grandson so I made them diff by using diff fabric for the handles.

When my daughters son was old enough to go out she wanted me to make him a bag like she had. I used Halloween fabric and put glow in the dark fabric paint on it. I put long straps on it so when they got tired (as kids do and parents carry the bags) they could cross it over thier shoulders and chest. For her son since he was a lot smaller I put two handles on it; one that is long for future growth that tucked down inside the bag and one long enough for him then. Now she has a daughter and I've been told I need to make another bag. Plus my grandson is having his first Hallween party this yr so I want to make him a Halloween wall hanging and put candy corn or jackolantern fabric on it for signature blocks for all of his friends to sign. His mom loved the idea and my DGS loves all that I make. What an easy way to score brownie points. I like the idea of the placemats; makes it alot quicker.
