i must be the odd ball! I don't collect anything per se, but will buy something made made/designed local to any new area I visit. my last trip through Taos, NM I picked up some stunning fabric designed by a local artist.

I have a small 4 room house, so no room for dustcatchers. I do collect unusual business cards, old cookbooks (not too many) and very small miniature animal statues. (which currently need to be dusted!)

Books and I'm about to the point to throw those out. If it werent for long winter nights I would. But every once in a while you just need a good book. I dont have many around 50 or so, and Dh has about 200. Occasionally when we get new ones we'll give the old ones away. But neither of us collect anything. For some reason his family thinks because he likes to fish and watch Steelers football, they will buy him anything with a fish on it or the steelers. Everyone needs a Bass spoon rest and Steelers salt an pepper shakers! Yep we use them.

I collect "Dr Pepper" memoribilia. I have anything with Dr Pepper on it, from soda jerk hats to frisbees, toy trucks, lots of vintage bottles, coolers, a watch, I have two books about the history of Dr Pepper, a bird house, cookbook, clocks, vintage signs, etc.... so much stuff. AND YES I do drink Dr Pepper...AND NO there is no " ." after the Dr in "Dr Pepper"

I used to but I'm sick to death of stuff!
I asked my kids what they really care about and that gave me a good idea what to keep and what to get rid of.

DH and I love antiques and it started getting out of hand. The only things we really seem to care about are the family things my parents have collected and given us over the years.
Same for our kids.

Just don't ask me about vintage Singers LOL

Dickens village houses, etc. Although now I want to downsize them and my sons have made it clear they do not collect them (smile).

Well now, I collect Elvis memorabilia, teapots, cookbooks, large print books, old quilts, anything quilting (magazines and books), fabric and that's about it.
