Hi everyone, I am sort of a newbie here. I reg. sometime ago. But then my computer went on vacation, LOL

I am from SW Pa. and have quilted on and off over the years. I am trying to get back into it. All your work has inspired me to get going again. :-)

I am looking forward to meeting everyone, and learning from all of you.

I am I guess they call an old fashion quilter. I machine piece, but I love to hand quilt. Takes me for ever. But I love it.

Hi live2teach,

Thank you for the welcome, Where about does your Dh work??

Hopefully someday I can post some of my pics. My printer went so I am looking for a new one.

Right now I have a log cabin to finish piecing the top. amd a rag quilt going. I usually don't do too much in the summer when it comes to quilting and sewing. Gets to hot for me. LOL

Coal Miner Wife,

My DH works here for Appalachian Fuels here in Charleston, WV. He has only been in the mines for 8 months...exactly (today). My dad, however, has been in the mines for about 30 years. Where does your DH work?

Hi all.

live2teach, My Dh works for Consol Energy!! He has been in the mines for 30 years also.

Norah: I find hand quilting very relaxing. Takes time but I love the look.

Thanks again for the welcome everyone
