Default Central Florida & new to sewing

Hello everyone :-) I live in central Florida, and I am new to sewing. I found this message board by conducting a search for adjustment of long bobbin winder assemblies for treadle sewing machines . someone actually took the time to write down the steps. I already had mine apart and put back together, when I found the post here, but it was great to see there actually was a resource Here after such much searching and coming up empty-handed. I wanted to go on that page if I can find it again, and add some photos and a few other notes about my experience with the bobbin winder cam for the 127 sphinx model-1910.

I have a singer 201–2 potted motor from 1938 as well. Also three vintage Kenmore sewing machines. I've been sewing about three months and people like to give you sewing machines :-) both of my grandmothers were excellent seamstresses but they didn't have the patience to teach me. I'm trying simple things at first. All my best to you all. This is a lovely message board.

Welcome from the FL Panhandle. You are in prime quilting territory in Central Florida. It seems like there is a shop every 30 miles apart.

I know nothing about old machines, but I can welcome you from the beautiful mountains of western NC.

Welcome from California. If you are interested in learning to make quilts and table runners, check out Missouri Star Quilt Company tutorials!! Also, other tutorials. UTube is a great resource for fixing anything. Good Luck and welcome to QB.
