The 'hexagons or flower patches as I've dubbed them' were in gms' cedar chest.
I appliqued them to the four square blocks Using a pastel marble
print. 3 shades of sunlight representing dawn, noon and sunset with pink, yellow, and orange. And green representing-well, greenery, lol
I framed each block in alternating shades of brown marble print
representing the path through the garden.
The flower patches are embelished with a bright golden yellow stem stitch around the edges to depict direct sunlight! It is the first of Grandmothers things I have actually finished (though it still has to be quilted yet) I hope I did her proud :? Thanks for your interest ~ Lee
