From the DC area
Hi -- I live and work full-time in the DC area but grew up in SC. I learned to sew only once I decided to learn to quilt (about 12 years ago) in my early 40's. I have always loved the artwork that goes into quilting but now I am obsessed (especially with fabric LOL!). Glad to have found this board!

Hello Quiltymama from the left coast! Glad you found us, it's nice to be around people who understand cutting up perfectly good fabric... or maybe just saving it for the right project. The only downside I've found so far is that I get far too many more ideas for projects than I have time to do them.
