I'm sort of new to the Quilting board. I've been subscribed to it for a while and love to see what everyone is working on. I don't have as much time to quilt as I would like, but soon there will be more time. My next to last baby will graduate from High School 2011 and then I have only one more. In the mean time I also cross stitch and crochet, and tutor reading.
I live in Alabama, but I was born in WV and lived in KY for 10 years. I've been quilting since about 1995. My Grandma taught me to quilt when I was little but I didn't get serious about it until I was pregnant with my last baby. I've made several quilts most hand quilted, and a few machine quilted.
Recently I was given a box that belonged to my dear Husbands Grandmother. In the box were several old quilt tops. My daughters and I have decided to try to mend what we can and hand quilt at least one of them over the winter. We hope to start shortly after Christmas.
