All those magazines have nice patterns, but not a lot of guidance in actually quilting. Also like I hear you, not a lot of imagination. What I do hear from you quilters! is very interesting & helpful..talk to ya' later!!!!!!
WElcome from Arizona. There is a 1/4" foot you can get. It actually has a guide on it. Also there are tape markers that stick to your machine that help you to stay at your 1/4". Check with your local LQS. Good luck and have tons of fun. Lots of great folks on this board that can help to answer anything.

Welcome, Elageo!!!!! There is a wealth of info right here. I also rely on Missouri Star Quilt Company and Youtube for fabulous tutorials on so many things. I am very visual and they help a lot.
This board is for me like having thousands of best friends!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Howdies from Possum Trot, KY.

I'm pretty new to here also but have found these folks are super talented and ever so nice to help with any questions that come up. The tutorials have answered soooo much already.

When you have show and tell, they really do make your day with wonderful comments.
