Hi all, I'm Sally, aka grendelskin, from Connecticut. I'm a fairly new quilter with less than a dozen finishes under my belt. I enjoy online quiltalongs and tutorials and have been "lurking" here for several months! Attaching (I hope!) my most recent finish, part of an online quiltalong using asterisk blocks and my personal favorite thus far.

Welcome from Ohio. Love your quilt. I've never heard of the asterisk quilt. Is there a pattern somewhere?

Karen Griska from the Selvage Blog created this one. It's easy to make but the blocks do take time. Watch those seams at the intersections, this newbie found the bulk daunting!
