Hi from Central Maine. I have been quilting for many years. Enjoy hand quilting and now am anxious to learn how to machine quilt. One of my daughters is an excellant quilter. We worked on a queen sized Ohio Star. She pieced it and I hand quilted it. Lately I have been making quilted bags. Great way to use up scraps. I got a new Janome sewing machine for my birthday this past week and am anxious to get sewing!!!! Looking forward to hearing from other quilters. Maine winters are great for quilting! We are very busy here on the farm during the summer and fall months.

Hi there and welcome from Wisconsin. Another COLD and SNOWY State.
I lived in Waterville, Me back in the late 50's until 1970. So I am well aware that winter can be a beast in Maine.
