Welcome from Western PA! I'm working on a hand-work quilt. It's a Star of the Orient pattern with black background and a variety of bright colors for the stars. Five rows done, and enough blocks done to make at least the 6th row, and maybe the 7th. I also plan to hand-quilt it. I started work on this quilt almost a year ago last September! It is definitely going to be a while before I finish it!

I still love hand work of all kinds. I'm glad you are keeping those skills alive. Welcome from Oregon!

I am going to teach a hand quilting class to some homeschoolers. I am learning as I go along. Any tips or web sites that would help? I have planned to make a set of coasters for our first project, then maybe a pieced pillow, then the remainder 6 classes work on a quilt. TIA!
