Hello and welcome from Northern California. Perhaps we can tempt you to give quilting a try.

welcome from Michigan! I met a woman last year who had a lap hoop similar to the one in your picture, but hers had only one vertical support thing, so she slid the bottom part under her leg for working on it. Have no idea where she got it, someone may have made it for her, but it looked sooo handy. Do you have anything like that? I am a hand quilter.

I have to admit, I am learning a ton from all of the postings. I was just reading a posting of yours on the Featherweights. I have my mothers and recently purchased a missing foot pedal off eBay to get it working. The problem is, I don't know how to load the thread and make it sew. It's in perfect condition and I admire the quality and simplicity that singer built into these little machines, so many years ago. I have it on display, waiting for one of my daughters to show an interest. Good luck with the Featherweight.

No, I don't make that style. I am trying for unique designs. Hinterberg makes one that has the pole and base that you sit on. I think Keepsake Quilting sells another one too. I am designing a tilt/spin model too. I am having fun with it. Today I am testing magnets to hold the top frame on to the lower base. I have a picture and video on our website. If you look at it, please send me feedback on the design.
