We are going through something similar. Our little kids were pulled fron the home because of boyfriend abuse. Mom has given custody to dad in another state. We will know next month about our grandparent rights in court. Should happen in Kansas. The dad likes to control & we have to be careful to not make him mad. Some states DO have rights for gr.parents. NEVER give up. Also, check to see what age kids get to decide where to live. I know this bites. You never know what a yr. later will bring. I am so sorry. I hurt too. This made me cry.Do not give up. :XD: :XD:
