A friend of mine told me about this site, so thought I would check it out. Wow, so many topics. I'm sure I will learn a lot. I bought a sewing machine before I retired so I could get it paid for. My goal was to make a quilt for each of my children; however, they all have king size beds. Well, I think I better start with throws! I have made several small quilts for each of the grandchildren. I finally finished a king size quilt for my husband and myself.

Hi, everyone. Thank you for the complimants on my quilt. It took me forever to do. I started it about 3 yrs ago and then started working on it about 3 mos ago and I stayed on it until it was finished. A friend of mine has a large quilting machine and she let me use it for my quilt because I wanted to do the whole thing by myself. So that was my first time to quilt on a large quilting machine.
