Welcome from Beautiful Arizona. I am just finishing up a quilt made from a man's shirt collection. The daughter made the quilt (never made a quilt before this one) and I sandwiched it and finished quilting it. Now to bind it...I know your mother-in-law is going to cherish the quilt you are making for her. Hope to see your work soon. Happy quilting.

Look in your area for quilt guilds or activities they host. That's a great way to meet quilters in your area. Ask at the local libraries too. If you're close enough to the Wisconsin border, I'll be there are some there too.
