Hello, I'm a Newbie
Hi!
My name is Deanna and I live in Southwest Iowa. I am 62, married with two children and four grandchildren. My number one hobby is reading (love a good mystery) but quilting is not far behind. I find it easier to grab a book and a glass of iced tea and sit on the porch swing than to dig out all my sewing supplies so...that's why my unfinished list keeps growing! I have amassed a nice stash of fabrics so will have plenty to do when I retire. My favorite fabrics are anything designed by "Sweetwater"and I just hate to cut into them. Anyone else that way? I'm about 80 miles from a quilt shop so do most of my shopping online with The Missouri Start Quilt Co and the Fat Quarter shop being my "go to" shops. I love to work with black and whites with a pop of color added. I think I will really enjoy this forum. Happy sewing to all!
