Default Hello from mid Missouri

Hello, my name is Mary. I have only been quilting for a year or so. I learned to sew when I was 7 but quilting is new to me. So far I love it! Quilting seemed like a natural for me. I can sew, like math, loved geometry and jigsaw puzzles. At first colors intimidated me, but I am getting past that fear. Currently, I a making random half square triangle blocks just to play with them and hone my seam matching skills. Thanks for having me in the group!

Welcome from the Gulf of Mexico, Corpus Christi, Tx. How close are you to Hamilton, Jenny Doan, Missouri Star Quilt Company. Been there yet? This is a great place to be.

A big SHO-ME welcome from Lebanon MO - south central Missouri!! If you sewed in your previous life (pre quilting life) and could follow directions, then you will do fine with following quilting directions. The same with garment sewing, there is a little wiggle room on the actual sewing and much wiggle room on the creating.
