Hi! New here and new to quilting too. I did my first project in a class last fall, and I'm working on a lap quilt now. Seeing some modern looking quilts online inspired me to learn, and so far it's much easier than sewing clothes. :D

Welcome cooking!! I think you will find this to be an incredible place of inspiration. I've been sewing for 15 years--and learned more from my year here than all those 15 years together.

Sewing clothes is like Greek to me--I can't do it. :roll:

Welcome from New Hampshire, but I lived in the K'zoo/GR area for 15 years. West Michigan is a great place to live if you can't live in New England. :wink: This board is great, no matter where you live!
