Hi i'm living in edmonton canada, originally from england. Been here 3 months, really homesick. I find that doing my sewing helps with it, I can put my mind into something else and forget about everything else.
Only made 1 quilt up to now but i'm hooked , loved doing it

Hello Kerry and welcome to QB.
I'm married to a UK ex-pat and after 20 years there are still some things he misses a lot ... mostly food items ... we can get some of them online (PG Tips, Branston pickle), but we can't get good bangers and he certainly can't get decent Fish-N-Chips here. Whenever the kids come to visit up they stuff their suitcases with Tea, Branston and Tums (I like English Tums much better than American Tums!). Which reminds me ... son William is coming July 3 so I must give him a shopping list
