Hello Everyone: I'm Brenda from Ontario Canada. I've been 'lurking' around quilting sites and truely amazed by all the beautiful quilting works I've seen. I'm actually making my very first quilt now and it's a baby rag quilt. I have been reading alot of the threads on this site and want to Thank everyone for the great information and suggestions. I will be checking back frequently to learn more from the experienced (and newbie's too).

Welcome to the Quilting Board.
Our quilt shop recently started shipping to Canada so I feel a little more connected to Canada than I did before.
I lived in Cleveland Ohio for nearly fifty years and as most Ontarians know, in the winter when the lake is frozen, we can hike to the "other side" of the lake. As a kid in Cleveland, on clear weather days, we could tune-in Canadian TV channels. They seemed foreign and strange and the commercials showed things that American TV never showed. (people in undergarments)
Our Quilt Shop has set up a program for Canadian Quilting Guilds. If you need any information on that, please feel free to contact me through private message.
