Hello from Calgary

Hi there, my name is Dawn and I have just started quilting this past month. Bought my first sewing machine on the 8th and have been spending some time getting the lay of the land. Have always been intimidated by sewing machines! I actually paid a fellow student to do my home-ec project way back when lol. However, I am totally into learning how to quilt. Have almost completed a little quilt from a you-tube video course and very happy with it and myself actually,lololol. Am really glad to have found this site and all you wonderful people.

Howdy from the greater Seattle, Washington area.

Quilting has been my hobby since I was a teenager some 40 years ago now... we all start somewhere and here you are and one of us now. Mwahaha... the quilters won't let go! It's like the Hotel California.
