Howdy from Texas! It's so good to have you as a new member of the Quilting Board. You will learn soooo much here from lots of quilters with all levels of quilting skills. Ask, ask, ask as many questions as you can think of & someone will be around to help you with answers. If you haven't already, learn to take & post pictures here because we love pictures & would like to see your progress.

Well hello and well met. I don't come from a family of quilters but I decided when I was 17 (my senior year in high school) that I wanted to make a quilt. That was back in 1978 and back then I found the little old quilting ladies a bit intimidating, now that I've become one I want to let you know we aren't all that bad!

The two constants in my life have been quilting and music. I hope it is the start of a life long hobby for you, and if not remember to have some fun along the way

Hello from Maryland! I think you are our youngest member here, and that's exciting! Love that you learned to quilt through 4-H!
