Well, my name is Beth and I've been sewing for a couple years now. My mom always sewed everything for us when we were growing up...so I just kinda followed her into this whole quilting world. And I think I'm stuck here for life. I will be the first to admit: I am addicted to gadgets. I gotta have them all!!!
I've just completely fallen in love with this forum, just the people and different subjects it's wonderful having this all put together. I'm just thankful my husband hasn't heard about ya'all, lol. I'm a bit intimidated to join a guild, I'm so new to quilting. But I have joined a small Fiber Arts club, I just think they're a bit weird to call my stuff "art". We're actually refered to as "artists" lol, me...an artist?
I do gotta ask, do ya'all just sew quilts or do you do garmets and well...anything else?? I ask cuz, I sew a bit of everything and what turns out a little odd, I just try again till it works.
Well, a BIG thank you to those who started this and worked so hard to get it going, it was much needed and appreciated.

Well I used to sew every thing. About 4 years ago I made all most all of a granddaughter's school close. Her friends wanted to know where she bought the cool clothes. She told them they were hand designed just for her and there was no copy's. I even crochet a purse for her. But now I do mostly quilts. Some times I may do some minor repairs for some one.

From Ga, I think the ladies on this site do a variety of sewing, But I think the main addiction is Quilts, Alot of info and kind words, ENJOY.
