Hello from Texas!
Howdy y'all!
I'm new to this board but not new to quilting. I've been sewing for decades but began quilting about 10 years ago. I dabble in a little bit of every kind of fiber craft: quilting, garment sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery, etc. By far, my favorite thing to do is quilt. Well, specifically piece tops. I haven't quite found the love for actually quilting my tops in the same way I love piecing them. Trying to shove a twin sized pile of fabric through my domestic machine can be a pain. LOL!
In addition to sewing and quilting, I'm also a vintage sewing machine collector. My collection hasn't necessitated its own room yet, but it's getting there.
Outside of all things fabric,I'm married to a pretty terrific guy who doesn't seem to mind my hobby creeping into his home office space. I'm also a mom to two kiddos, 10 and 7, and a very busy volunteer. Prior to kids, I was a corporate events manager. I'm excited to join this board and glean all kinds of ideas and show off things I'm working on.
