Hello from upstate New York!

Good morning! Just joined hoping to make some new quilting friends. Anyone else from Upstate NY. I live in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of NY. I'm 68 yrs old, widowed, mother of 2, grand mother to 7, g-grandmother (nana) to 3 and Mom to 2 rescued kitties. Been quilting since 1969. Do my own machine quilting on a Handi quilter Simply16. Love everything fabric! Been making purses and totes for bout 5 years. Favorite fabric is reproduction cw. Kim Diehl and Jo Morton are my favorite. Will post some of my creations soon.

Welcome, Deb! I am originally from Utica and still have a lot of family there. Such a beautiful part of the country.

Welcome! I'm originally from upstate (Buffalo, Rochester & Binghamton). Now in NC, but have a cottage in Canada about 90 minutes north of Thousand Island bridge so still come through your beautiful part of the world often. I know you'll like it here.
