hi there people ,folks, ladies and gents just joined up after finding this great site the reason i'm here is my neighbor threw out some old sewing machines and after looking at them i decided to save them them from going to the tip i saved 1singer 99k a nice model a bit scratched up but runs well, and 2 pinnock fridor sewmatics both in parts and pieces well out of the two i seem to have restored one that looks complete but seems to need some final tweaking and from the odds and ends left over i built a rotisserie for the barbie out of one motor (don't crucify me it was too good to waste ) and now i'm looking for help or advice on how to set bobbin tension on the pinnock any advise would be great thanking you

Hello and welcome. I have a Pinnock Sewmatic (they are brilliant machines and were made in South Australia). You will find a screw on the bobbin casing, adjustment of that screw will correct your tension (with much practising on a scrap of material). Any other questions pm me. Can't promise a very quick reply as have some family dramas happening (I come here for therapy, when I'm not quilting!).:)

This is my "Jasper"
