Question Hi Everyone

My name is Joyce and I'm new to this so "bear" with me!
I've only just finished my first quilt and onto my second. The second one is exciting because I'm making it out of my husbands neck ties. Now, most men only have a few or so but not mine. He was a school teacher and could go for 2 years with out wearing the same tie twice. Some of them are really cool. This one is for our granddaughter's graduation present. It has a theme of Looney Tunes so it has been fun. My husband designed the patteren himself.
Now, the real I'm on here... I have a Bernina Artista 180 embrodiery machine and I'm having an issue with it and not sure what I'm doing wrong. When I sew a design it I have loops in the pattern, randomly.
This does not make for a nice or pretty design. Can you please help me or give me some pointers? I've had my machine awhile but I've started using it more recently.
Thanks in advance for any advice or help you can give me,
Joyce

Welcome from Illinois.

I know nothing about embroidery machines, so I can't help you there. If you don't get enough responses to your embroidery question, post it again. Not everyone reads things in the introduction forum. I'm sure someone on here can help you out. We have a lot of machine embroidery enthusiasts on here.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. Sorry but I don't have an embroidery machine. If it is just a few stitches can you carefully pull the extra to the back and secure the extra thread with a bit of glue or fusible?
