Hi, everyone! I am having SOOO much fun looking at the photos of your quilts! I stumbled across this message board a few weeks ago and am very grateful. I'm a single mother who works full time as an insurance agent, so I don't have a whole lot of free time. But- when I get a creative urge, I like to do small quilting projects. I've recently discovered paper piecing and am having a ball with it. Sewing a straight line is what I do best, so I love having this type of "cheat-sheet" to make something beautiful!

Greetings from Sacramento CA. Paper piecing takes a lot of patience - nothing "cheaty" about it.

No, I didn't think I could handle English Paper Piecing. I bought a Carol Doak book from a quilt shop going out of business sale and got started that way. I like to make wall hangings to decorate my office or give away.

(Argh! Photos make these look crooked!)
