[quote=Annaquilts]LOL Would you believe I lived in Waddinxveen when I was about 13! I went to the MAVO there. We lived far from the city and it was closer to Moercappelle (spelling?) Right now I live in Southern California. There are more Dutch on the board. Some are in the Netherlands and some in different countries like the USA. I think you will realy like the board. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful.

Hi Anna, It's unbelievable to meet a ex-Waddinxvener here. You didn't live that far from the city Gouda. It's only 6 km. And Moerkapelle is about 3 or 4 km. To which MAVO did you go? I don't know how old you are, but were you on Coenecoop College? Say the name Hogenelst something to you? I've been watch topics and I can read how helpful everyone is. I feel welcome here.

Hi Marvel, we had much snow in December. Our youngest, Nina, has a handicap and I couldn't go outside with her wheelchair. During the Christmas Holidays she was 2 weeks inside. :(

Welcome! I lived four years in Amsterdam! I learned to quilt in a quilt group with other Americans living there at the time.

Thank you. How do you say that? The world is smaller than you think it is? That is what we say in Dutch.
