What sorts of quilts should I be looking to do as a novice quilter?

I've got my eyes on an amish quilt "Sunshine and Shadows" as my goal quilt to get to do.

Oh the Gold Coast - nice part of Australia. I'm near Canberra. Used to live in Brisbane for three years and I really miss the people and the weather.
