Welcome from New Jersey. You may want to see if you can attend one of the bigger quilt shows. Those are alot of fun. There are also places that offer quilting retreats.

Welcome from Oregon! My family origins are from Sweden. One of my cousins had our family's genealogy translated from Swedish our family line goes back to the 16th century to a Samuel Sahlstrom, his wife Katherine goes back to the 9th century! It's definitely interesting. I love quilting and also have never taken a class. I hope you enjoy your trip to the US.
